And now I'm actually feeling sorry that I did in fact read it so fast, because a good book is so hard to come by. Anyway, the author stays true to her writing style and the overall story plot. I feel like we got a lot of answers and new question in this one and now I am already looking forward to reading the next book in this series (that hopefully comes out soon). ...more

Aaaaand that sums up my feelings perfectly. I mean wtf?!!! I skipped the first part, cause it was boring the house! And the second part was all right, till the 70% marker. Then it just went downhill, again. And don't even get me started on the ending. I mean seriously?! What the hell was the author thinking, huh? Totally not cool or acceptable. And it's no secret that I'm not fond of Cadence's character. What a twat. A goddy doer in the worst kind. And totally too trusting. She's just a horrible character that I wanted to kill, preferably by beheading and blowing up. But just when I thought I got my wish when she fell in the volcano, nope, my hope was shattered. If she's in the next Legion of Angels book I'm done! I do have a feeling that she's going to be the word mother in law, that's for sure! Damien can stay, the rest of this book characters', except Pandora and Nero of course, can take a hike straight to hell and stay there indefinitely! Thank you. ...more

I had problemI had high hopes for this story, since I know this author can write amazing books. But this time it felt like the whole book was rushed. I had problems with the timing, like when Cadence finds out that her whole life she has been lied to. She went from crying to immediately sassy and acted like that moment never happened. It was trippy to say the least and it made me feel like I missed something. I did like Damien a lot tho. He was dare I say perfect. Also the plot wasn't so bad, full of action and romance and we also get a scorching scene. So all in all, I liked it but was expecting more. I hope the next book will be a bit more put together. ...more

This story read itself. From the first page to the ending it was packed full of mystery, bravery and love. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the characters' personalities. It was like going on an adventure that was about more than just a murder. It was about saving a nation. And to find out that the scroll is a real item, just the cherry on top of the cake. This is definitely a book that will intrigue it's reader and make him/her wonder about the possible future these characters will have. I admit I was expecting more from the ending, since it did feel a little like there is potential for a sequel and we do not get the full closure that at least I wanted to have. But nontheless, a fantastic story well worth my time. ...more

I really liked everything about it. Well... in the beginning Liam is an asshole but in the end he did win me over. And not to mention the plot twists, wow. The one at the end, just insane. Did definitely not see that one coming. Talk about a cliffhanger. But thankfully the next book will soon be out, so I can read about what happens next in Eve's crazy new life. And not to mention all the paranormals. I don't think I've read a book that had them all in. Even Lilith, yes, The Lilith. Lets just say this book is very entertaining. What I wished were perhaps different is the slow burn romance. We get only one hot kissing scene in the whole book, so that was a bummer. But I hope we get lots more of them in the second book.

I think I've found a new series that I'll be obsessed about. But there was one thing that really confused me and that was the hero. Because guess what, I don't know who he's supposed to be. Like I seriously don't know who he is, since Nora doesn't date. Bad past experiance and all that. There is one potential hero but I'm just not sure. That being said, this doesn't mean she lacks male attention. Heck no, she's practicaly a man magnet. But that can sometimes, or in her case almost always, end badly. Some people just don't know the meaning of the word no. No rape scenes in this book, thankfully, but the was potential that this could've happened. Don't worry tho, they got what they deserved. Only Henry is still not been dealt with but I will stay positive and say that carma has something special planned just for his lovely mind. As for Nora, I really like her. And did I mention there are trolls in this book. Like whaaaat??? Just for that reason alone you should read the book. It's honestly awesome. ...more

So when I saw in the blurb the name Atlantis, the Bermuda Triangle and shapeshifters I knew I wanted to read this book. And sadly I think I had too high hopes, since the first 40% of the story were so not my jam. As in, did the heroine really have nothing better to do than to fling herself at every male she met? I mean honestly, that made me want to stop reading the book a couple of times, since this book is supposedly about mates and so on... To say I disliked the heroine would be a mild understatement. Just her whole personality was awful and she all blamed it on her hormones. That to me screams the usual dimwit heroine that no one likes and roots for, me included. The only redeeming characters were Raif and Ashlyn. I even felt bad for her ex slash her back on boyfriend slash the cheated on boyfriend. I mean, the whole thing is just an emotional mess. Oh, right, did I mention we don't get a good ending? Nope, well now you've been warned. Since this book is so short it felt almost like this is only the half of the story and I hope we get the other half in the second book of this series. Otherwise, what was the point in writing this one?!

This is like the after party with tons of famous / important people and amazing drinks. It just can't get any better than this. OK, maybe it can but not by much, that's for sure. Leda, Nero and all of their friends and loved ones, except for her brother and biological mother were a part of this story. If that doesn't convince you to read the book, then I don't know what will. It's just epic and awesome. I absolutely loved reading every minute of it.

As always the plot is great with lots and lots of action, the main characters are the bomb and in this book there ware even some clues as to what Leda is. Lets just say that we get a nice plot twist about a certain character and I love it. And now that the Gods are getting more and more involved the story simply gets more and more interesting. Is it just me, or is this series getting better and better. Like what?!!! Not that I'm complaining about it. It's not everyday that you find a good book, not to mention a good series. I'm so happy right now, you can't even imagine. The two main characters finally did it! And thank God or Gods for it. As I mentioned in my last review for the previous book in this series, if these two didn't finally get it on I was going to quit. It took them four books to get to the point where, at least to my opinion, they shuld've been in the first or at least the second book. But all is forgiven. I'm happy they are finally making next steps in their relationship. And as for the plot and the rest of the characters, I loved it. Everything fit and it ws just awesome. And I'm now on to the next book because I really can't get enough of this seires.

WI think this one is my favourite book out of the three in this series that I've read so far. There is so much action and the plot is really awesome. We get to see Leda become stronger and also more of her with Nero, which was about damn time. But I still wished for more romance between these two. I totally agree with a reviewer, who wrote that the author gave us blue balls with this story. It's totally true and if these two don't get it on in the fourth book I just don't know what I'm going to do. There's slow burn and there is just messing with our feelings and investment in these two characters. So I really hope they get together, properly this time, or I'm out.

Usually we get smut and OTT heroes with no drama what-so-ever. But in this story I think it was great to see some plot twists that at times made me feel mad and at the same time sad for all the main characters. It had more depth and made the story more interesting - not that I mind the usual fun and hot stories from this author. I was just in the right head space to read this story and that made me like it more than the other AR books. I wonder, if AR is thinking of making more stories with such plot twists because I think I'd really enjoy them. Afterall, who doesn't from time to time want to read a controversial storyline. ...more

There are some similarities but nothing that would make me stop reading the book and call for author rights. In this series the whole world is so much different from what I'm used to reading about and that made me like the plot a lot. It's basically how the world looks like after armageddon. And all the angels and gods versus demons stuff is also quite amusing. I'm sure some wouldn't see it that way, but these days I just have a wicked kind of humor. Can't wait for Halloween btw.

Anyway, as I was saying the book is a treat, wonderful really! That being said, I wished there was more N/A instead of YA. You know, a bit more action on that front. But nonetheless, the characters had great chemistry and some I even found annoyingly lovable. I also wished we'd get a HEA but it's more of a HFN, maybe, for now. So I'm onto reading the next book and see what's the fuss about becoming an angel all about. With the speed the main character is progressing it certainly won't be long for her to be one.

Besides The Deep in Your Veins Series, this one is my favourite from this amazing and funny author. I love her works and this book for sure didn't let me down. Devon and Tanner are simply perfect for each other. I couldn't wait for their story and I'm so glad how it turned out. They both tease each other so much that it only made sense for them to be together. It wasn't a smooth journey to get there but with love it never really is, right? Also the infamous ow-om drama was compared to other books from this author quite mild, which I liked. And not to mention we finally get to see little Asher again, he's so adorable and cute. I also loved to read more about the rest of the gang. I'm fairly sure that the next book will be awesome and super hillarious, since it's supposed to be about Keenan and Khloe. I love aThis book was brought to my attention by it's author and after I read a small 'preview' of the story I was immediately sucked into the story. I love a good mystery/thriller, especially with so many plot twists. Of course I'm not going to spoil anything, just to keep up with the mystery of it all. The story gets off a bit slow start and throughout the story not much is revealed as to who the real culprit is. I think that's part of the charm of this book. It keeps you guessing and with how short it is, the author does a pretty good job with holding the readers attention till the very end. Now about the ending itself, I think it would perhaps be better had the author decided to stop at the 32 chapter, with the detectives going for a beer. For me, what happened after that kinda bordered on fiction. It was just too implausible and unrealistic and that ruined the perfect ending for me. Maybe some readers will enjoy that kind of an ending, but for me, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Nonetheless, overall I still think it's a good story with a great plot. It's definitely worth a read. ...more

The plot, the characters, the ending and even the love triangle between Tessa, Will and Jem. It was so great to see Tessa's future and to finally know what she is. She's definitely unique and that has it's ups and downs but for this story it is perfect. I feel like the author could even make a spin off for Tessa and Jem, that would be so wonderful. Although it's not a short book there were things that I wished to read more about. I'm not going to spoil anything, since it is the final book of this series and anything that I say could give away some parts of what happens in the book. To be honest, I can see why so many people liked this story, me included. It's fresh and things never get boring. Also, while I'm not a love triangle fan, I did enjoy the romance in this book. Granted, it's not the greatest love story of all time but it's cute enough for me to like it. I liked Mal as well as the Darkling. There were times when I liked the Darkling more than Mal, until the ending that is. All those plot twists made me second guess the characters personality and if they really aren't what they seem. The author did great work with all main characters and while it took me more time to warm up to Alina by the end of the story I grew to like her. At the beginning I didn't like how weak and cynical she was, since that could've saved her so much grief and heartbreak but at the same time as the story progressed I could see her grow into a stronger person. I also liked Genya's character. Despite the cultural differences, she didn't let others bring her down. There were things she could've done differently but she's only human, so I didn't expect her to be a saint. As for the other characters, well, I wasn't really a fan of. Too much pretence and snobbiness for my taste. What I also liked and what I was quite surprised by is the ending. The story ends on a cliffhanger and the way it ended makes it a great setup for the next book, which I will definitely reading soon. ...more

And for a novella and an Amazon freebie, this story is actually quite intriguing and dark and also just a great build up for the full lenght story. It's not your typical romance book, it's more of a K. Webster type of a book. So you know that you're in for a dark and f*** up ride. Not that I mind. I just wish the second book was out already. Well, that was quite the read. And to be honest, I don't usually read a lot of YA books with plots such as this one, but for some reason I did enjoy this book. Maybe it was the fantasy element, which to be honest surprised me as I at first did not think it could fit into this story. But in the end it was the perfect fit. It made the story more interesting and did explain some things that I was wondering about at the beginning of the story. And maybe it was the whole set up and the characters of the story that sold me on this book. I don't know but I am sure of one thing and that is to read the second book. This one does end on a cliffhanger and not a pretty one at that. Not giving away any spoilers but our main characters do make huge sacrifices, or so it at least seems, for the ones they love and wish to protect. I'm not sure what will happend in the second book but I'm curious to find out how the whole family drama will play out. As it is now, it's really intense. Not to mention what will happen on the throne. Royalty always has had many enemies around them and usually it's the closest to them that in the end bring them the most harm and heartbreak. Makes me glad we live in a world where those times, for the most part, are gone. Democracy definitely has it's good parts compared to royalty, at least in that aspect.
