I was hooked from the very first chapter. In true Pippa fashion this book is filled with laughs, fun characters and of course animals. I’d expect nothing less from this author. No one does small town romantic comedies like Pippa does. This book is a bit different from her usual off the charts laugh out loud novels. It’s much deeper, which I really enjoyed.
In this book we meet Maisey Spencer, a divorced former reality TV home improvement star, who moves to a ranch she inherited from her uncle in Hell’s Bells, Wyoming. To say June, Maisey’s teenage daughter, is unhappy by the move is an understatement. Flint Jackson, the cranky hot tenant who’s been running the place since her uncle died? He’s also not ecstatic she’s there and hopes she’ll realize how out of her depth she is and go back to where she came from.
I loved the tension between the two main characters. They had amazing chemistry from the start and their banter was great. It was a nice slowburn.
Flint is a great grumpy hero and Maisey is a strong, fierce heroine who’s done with people who think she’s not good enough. Throw in a town filled with great people, a very bright teenager dealing with a lot and you have an awesome read.
Highly recommended! I hope we get more stories from Hell’s Bells.

I really enjoyed this book, although I have to admit that one review kind of tipped me off on who the stalker was, so I wasn’t really shocked when it was revealed.
I loved Lou! What a quirky and fun character she was. I really enjoyed how she always tried to bug Callum by doing things. Callum was a really hard character to read as we don’t get his POV and he’s ice cold.
I found it odd that we had the stalkers POV but not Caleb’s. The stalker’s POV is super creepy.
The secondary characters were great. I really loved Derek and his sense of humour.
It does end on a mild cliffhanger regarding the case, which leads into Ian’s book.
The cliffhanger doesn’t take away from this book though and it does end with a HEA....more

This book absolutely slayed! WOW. I haven’t read a book this good in a decade. If you read one book this year, read this one. I don’t even know how to write a review that will do it justice.
If I could give this book 6 stars I would and I don’t normally give out stars that easily. I’m also not a huge fantasy reader.
This book was action packed from the beginning to the end. It’s everything you want in a book and will keep you coming back for more. The romance part is an EPIC, scorching hot, enemies to lovers story that will stay with you.
It’s hard saying much about the book without giving away any spoilers, because there is so much to it.
Violet is an emotionally strong and fierce heroine. I absolutely loved her! She’s has so much grit and determination despite all the odds she’s dealing against.
“But most importantly, if I go, if I hide… I’ll never know if I’m good enough to make it here. And while I might not survive if I stay, I’m not sure I can live with myself if I leave.”
Xaden was everything you want in hero, standing by her and pushing her to be the best she can be, even when others doubt her. Even when she doubts herself.
“Going for blood today, are we, Violence?” he whispers. Metal hits the mat again and he kicks it past my head and out of my reach. He’s not taking my daggers to use against me; he’s disarming me just to prove he can. My blood boils. “My name is Violet,” I seethe. “I think my version fits you better.” He releases my wrist and stands, offering me a hand. “We’re not done yet.”
The supporting characters were phenomenal and you get so attached to them.
I don’t know what to say about the dragons without spoiling anything but: WOW! Yes! Loved them.
“Humans have no say in the laws of dragons.”
Read this book! That’s all I can say at this point.
**Edit: I’ve read this book three times in the 6 days since it’s come out. Loved it even more and picked up quite a few things. *** ...more
