A lot components can be causing the same symptoms and that's what sucks with troubleshooting PC's. If I had the money I would just have sent my pc away for repair too to spare myself this tedious process, lol.

I'm placing my bet the cpu had gone bad since if a cpu fries the mobo it usually shorts it out and it stops working completely. Literally poof and smoke.

Yes I'm having very similar issues. My 5950x just started crashing while pc is on idle and its mostly fine under load. Going to test changing drives first though as it seems to crash more frequently on Nvme SSD. but if that doesn't work I'll just order a new cpu.

So much for AMD saying "yeah these CPU'S runs hot but it definitely won't affect the lifespan at all" 🤣

My problems started with my PC crashing while being at idle, but also my overclocks became very unstable. I have done every single test there is when it comes to stresstest to verify that everything is stable and it is. Only thing i have left to do is switch out my NVME drive. Im starting to wonder if the problem is just that steelseries GG makes systems with faults unstable for some reason.

Product Help

After three days of troubleshooting a persistent system freezing issue which i thought were related to my cpu or ram, I identified the source as my SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL keyboard. The freezing occurred during both idle and moderate workloads but ceased entirely upon disconnecting the keyboard.

Given this information, how should I proceed? Are there any troubleshooting steps I can perform on the Apex Pro itself, such as a factory reset, to resolve the potential hardware malfunction? Alternatively, could this be a software issue related to SteelSeries GG?

Help (General)

My previously rock-solid PC has become suddenly unstable, freezing at idle. I am also now completely incapable of running PBO undervolts, which cause freezes even during everyday tasks. This has never been an issue before. Is my chip fried?

Here's what I have tried:
Fresh Windows install, twice..
Reverted to older Driver with DDU Reinstalled Chipset Drivers Latest BIOS
Made sure all the temps are ok
New Displayport cable
Memtest86+ (PASS with no errors)
Karhu ram test (500% coverage)
Disconnected all my drives except NVME
Done a S.M.A.R.T scan on NVME which passed
Vigorously done stresstests making sure it hits CPU and GPU hard but no crashes while doing it

System info:
MSI X570 MAG TOMAHAWK WIFI
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4 GHz 72MB
G.Skill 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL16 Ripjaws V
PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB Red Devil Ultimate
one year old Seasonic Prime PX 1000W

If you do some googling there are quite few results of people taking it above 120fps. Last time I played was back in early 2020 and I managed 200fps.
