What do you guys think about my fans setup? is there a better way that i can set it up?
noticed my gpu temps were raging towards 90+ core and even 105 on hotspot so i started to "panic" and tried to find some ways to lower them, i started with an undervolt and messing with fan curve and i managed to drop my temps a bit but then i noticed that the main problem was the glass side panel>
So i started running without side panel on because it makes me drop like 10 C in gpu core and hotspot (65 and max 85 hotspot on heavy load, im sitting at 36C idle)
i replaced the side panel with a mesh foil just to prevent animals and some dust to get in
Then i was not happy: i had 4 spare fans and i installed the two under the gpu as intake to push fresh air into the gpu, and then i installed the two fans on the top of the case one as intake and one as exhaust.
the bottom fan on the right under the gpu (the one inside the case) probably is useless, but the one on the left i thinks works great feeding fresh air into the gpu, i also tried to put that one as exhaust but i noticed no difference because the gpu exhaust his heat from the pci on the side, thats why im running without side panel.
any suggestion would be appreciated i leave below all my specs
5800x3d
noctua nhd15
7900 GRE
32 gb ddr4 3200 (4x8gb)
750W gold psu
with this setup i get on idle 36 core, 43 hotspot and max 67, 85 hotspot on heavy load (gaming)
sits on 65- 79 hotspot on 12 min furmark test
cpu stays in mid 35 and max 80 on heavy gaming cpu intensive (bf 2042)
noctua fans fixed at 50% (going above actually doesnt reduce temps anymore, just more noise)
gpu custom fan curve 23% - 25C ; 23% - 41C ; 65% - 50C ; 75% - 74C ; 100% - 79C
gpu undervolt & overclock: 2703 min - 2803 max core clock ; 990 mV ; 2416 MHz vram fast timin ; +15% power limit.
