PC Posting Display Problems
Yesterday I wasn't doing anything just in the middle of a game (Overcooked 2) and out of no where my computer shut down and restart but when it restarted there was zero display yet the computer lights and fans all work. I swapped between 3 different working monitors which all showed no display, I swapped the ram sticks between each slot and used one at a time which still didn't work. I tried the hdmi and dp port on the mobo which didn't work. This is when I took the gpu out and used someones old radeon which actually got display so I was able to wipe the drivers. After doing this and putting the current gpu in it still didn't work which led me to believe it was the GPU. Well I tested with my old gpu (which is in right now) a gtx 980 and boom it didn't work again. Now it gets even crazier. I put the 980 into the second pcie slot and it works so I figured maybe its the mobo and not the gpu but then I tested the 7900xtx in the second slot and the display didn't work again. At this point I can do any tests within the pc, driver changes and anything but I still don't know what the problem is or even how to diagnose it at this point. I don't have money to throw around for a new parts especially if those parts seem to not even be broken. I do not have a second pc to test stuff on as well. If anyone knows anything or what to trouble shoot please help me. <3
