All the photos below are credited to "Erik F. Brandsborg www.aktivioslo.no/generalprove-finale.php" Clicking through to that page reveals this licence notice which says that the photos are released under CC-BY-ND. This licence is not free as it doesn't permit modification. The photographer appears to go to great lengths to explain, in his own words, what the terms of the licence are, and in particular that modification is not permitted. This seems at odds with the Flickr licence selection but I'd be inclined to give greater weight to the author's own words. —Psychonaut (talk) 12:54, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Coomment But, if the author released these photos under non-free licence and simultaneously released it on Flickr under free licence (CC BY-SA 2.0), then I think the free licence should apply. You say that we should "give greater weight to the author's own words", but these are both his words. He released the photos on Flickr under free licence, so these are his words too. What a descision. This will make ALL the free licensing revocable anytime. The Autor just have to declare somewhere something what contradicts the free license. So we can close all free projects. Whats going on here? --Itu (talk) 02:50, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
