Been waiting for Apple Developer ID review since August 1. I've emailed weekly, asking for updates. I've called the Apple Developer support line. I've talked to multiple representatives. The most I can get out of anyone is that "The account application is being reviewed, you just have to wait, there is literally nothing more you can do. Just wait." For months now, that has been the response.
Anyone know how to go about expediting, or what the next realistic step is here? I've been told that the request has been escalated as far up as it can be, but still getting no motion here. I asked if I should have someone else in my company submit the application, and asked if I should cancel my current application, and was told that I should not, as that would 'reset the timer' and I could end up waiting months more.
Really at a loss here as to how to proceed. Anyone else run into this sort of issue, and eventually got a resolution?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I'm trying to pay my apple developer account annual fee as a first time user and I get the message that the authorisation failed. Is that because I'm currently traveling an not in the country of the app store where I signed up? I tried 6 different banks/credit cards but no luck. So frustrating...
I'm getting an error that my email is invalid, but then i'm not able to change it.
my login ends in @companname.appleid.com

Thank you App review team for accepting one my games . Now i have only an game left with 4.3.0 Design-Spam rejection . Im still trying in every possible way to be accepted but still dont understand where the problem stands becouse my game is unique and not duplicated . I recreated the design but still got rejected . In waiting of a successful review now , becouse all this time i have been angry of having many rejections . For others that also are having the 4.3.0 Design-Spam rejection . What i did is that i added new functionality , and later i mentioned it in app review message
Hi everyone,
I’m facing an issue with my app version (changed Subscription from weekly to monthly) being rejected due to a "Loading Subscription" first time, then "Unable to Complete Request" error in the SubscriptionStoreView. I noticed on the screenshot that the review team was using a VPN, and since my app isn’t available in the EU, I believe this may be related to the problem.
I cannot replicate the issue on my end in UK. Does anyone have advice on how to address this?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Everyone,
We want to build an app for a client and have a business Challenge. On the one hand, the app will have a component that will require and in-app-purchase.
On the other side, we will have a subscription service that will be paid for outside the app.
Is that something apple allows to do, or will we get in trouble when doing in-app purchase?
Hey,
I submitted my game for review several times over the last two weeks, and I keep getting rejeted under the 4.1 Design Copycat guidelines.
Guideline 4.1 - Design - Copycats
This app or its metadata appears to be misrepresenting itself as another popular app or game already available on the App Store, from a developer's website or distribution source, or from a third-party platform.
Apps should be unique and should not attempt to deceive users into thinking they are downloading something they are not.
I have tried contacting and writing to the support team several times but I get absolutely no response. The game is completely built from scratch and I own all rights to it which is clearly mentioned as well.
There hasn't been a single thing that I have used in the game that is not owned by me and the game in general is completely original and novel with its design, and not trying to compete or derive its design from any other game in the app store.
All I just is more clarity and information or someone to respond and help me out with this, since I am a sole developer and I intend to release this game very soon.
Thanks, and please help!
Regarding ad-network registration
On our website, we run ads and promotional campaigns exclusively aimed at guiding users to download our app. We would like to use SKAdNetwork to track the effectiveness of these ads in driving app installs from our own website.
Following the documentation, we understand we need to "register your ad network",「Ad Network ID Request Form」(https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/skadnetwork/registering_an_ad_network).
However, we encountered an issue in the registration process. The first question asks:
“Is your company an ad network?”
Since we are not an advertising company, selecting “NO” does not allow us to proceed, and we receive the message: “Please contact your ad network for more information about using AdAttributionKit.”
Our question is: if we are not an ad network, is it possible to register an ad network? Selecting "NO" does not allow us to proceed, so how should we handle this?
Is it legal to use incoming call UI for displaying a scheduled fake call? Does it conform to App Review policies?
The approach also means there's no VoIP service integration for the app one's going to distribute
Hi,
I receive this email from Apple :
"Due to the discontinuation of content associated with your vendor number ------, your payments have been paused. We will continue to monitor this account and release your payments once customer refunds have been settled."
I've been receiving payments on time for over 10 years, I haven't change anything and now they skipped the monthly payment 🤷♂️.
WTF is going on? Please help anyone
Hi, i need to change the name of an app im testing because I named it what I want the final release to be and I cant archive the final project from the original test project.
So basically I just need to either delete the app from test flgiht or change its name.
iv already tried uploading it in a different name but it just makes a new app and the original one remains.
So far it doesnt seem possible to do either by myself right?
Thanks
After I received this email, my account was suspended and the app was taken down from the store. I've reached out to Apple but haven't heard back, so I'm wondering if anyone here has resolved these issues. It's a company app so it's urgent. Please help.
In accordance with DPLA 3.2(f), you have agreed that you "will not engage in any act of interfering with Apple Software or Services, the intent of this Agreement, or Apple's business practices." This includes, but is not limited to, the App Store, custom app deployment, TestFlight, Xcode Cloud, Ad Hoc deployment, or taking actions that may interfere with the performance or intended use of the program. Apple has every reason to believe that you have violated this provision due to written indications of fraud related to your account.
As previously advised, App Store Review Guidelines 5.6.4 (App Quality) states, "[Customers expect the best quality in the App Store, and maintaining high-quality content, service, and experience increases customer confidence. Signs that this expectation is not being met include excessive customer reporting and excessive refund requests for concerns about apps such as negative customer reviews. The inability to maintain high quality can be a factor in determining whether developers comply with the developer code of conduct," it states.
You have not done enough to tailor your Apple Developer Program account to the Developer Code of Product. Therefore, Apple is exercising its right to terminate your status as an Apple developer under the DPLA.
As an Apple developer, I would like to remind you of your obligations under DPLA regarding all software and other confidential information obtained from Apple. You must immediately cease and desist from any use of these materials and comply with all other termination obligations set forth in Section 11.3 of DPLA and Section 10 of ADA.
If applicable, no additional payment will be made in accordance with Section 7.1 of the Paid Application Agreement (DPLA Schedule 2 and 3).

Should I just create a new developer account and release the app anew rather than wait for a promising answer?
We have two apps with same app icon. One is live on app store while other got rejected due to duplicate app icon. The apple team has asked to change the app icon in order to be able to differentiate it from our former app. We are looking for minimum changes to the app icon.
Can we just change the background color of the app icon and resubmit the app?
I’ve developed a VisionOS app that synchronizes 3D immersive visual tracks with a music album, using Apple Music and MusicKit for playback. What should I consider when naming the app, and what guidelines apply for referencing the artist, album, and song names within the app to avoid copyright issues? I’d appreciate any guidance on how to approach these aspects to reduce the risk of rejection.
I updated the primary email address of my Apple Account, now all emails send to my new address except emails about App Store Connect (e.g. App Review status update).
How to make App Store Connect send emails to my new address?
Hi everyone,
I’m working with the App Store Connect API to analyze my app's launch time performance, but I’d like to retrieve historical data spanning multiple dates. However, I haven’t found parameters like startDate or endDate in the API documentation.
Is there any way to retrieve data for past dates, or is the API limited to recent data only? If anyone has experience with this or any workaround, I’d love to hear about it.
Thank you!
Hi Folks,
I'm currently using the App Store Connect API's perfPowerMetrics endpoint to pull launch time metrics for my app, but I want to break down the data by specific iPhone models (e.g., iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12, etc.). I’ve tried using filter[deviceType] set to all_iphones, which works, but it aggregates data for all iPhone models.
Does anyone know the specific identifiers for individual iPhone models, or if there's a way to retrieve metrics by specific iPhone model segments?
TIA
I'm trying to build an app using flutter which runs fine on both the Android and iOS side locally, but I cannot submit my app to the store. When I try an 'archive' or a 'validation' I keep getting the error:
Invalid large app icon. The large app icon in the asset catalog in “Runner.app” can’t be transparent or contain an alpha channel. For details, visit: https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/app-icons. (ID: 06a51b84-cfc5-43be-94c3-3ae02e5d1229)
I've tried:
Making sure my dependencies are up-to-date
putting remove_alpha_ios: true in flutter_icons
Going icon-by-icon and making sure it does not have an "alpha channel" (opening from Finder and exporting without "Alpha channel" checked)
Making sure the icon is not rounded
Cleaning my build environment (feels like 100s of times now)
JPG icons instead of PNG
I don't know what else to do. Nothing is working and I've now wasted multiple days on this problem. I'm new to XCode in general and have never run into something like this before, so if you have any suggestions please treat me like I'm new. I've tried reading the logs that appear when I click "show logs" but there's a lot in there and most of what I have checked into doesn't seem helpful.
Is it possible I've missed an Icon somewhere? If so, how can I tell which one it was? IS this even an Icon problem? How do I know? Where do I go from here? Is there more information I can provide that will help? If so, what, and where is it located?
I'm trying to submit by clicking "Add For Review" but I get an error because I have to select a build. My build is succeeding but I get 2 warnings :
Failed to export for Ad Hoc Distribution because this team has no iOS devices registered in the Developer Portal. Register an iOS device in the Developer Portal at https://developer.apple.com/account and then try again.
Failed to export for Development Distribution because this team has no iOS devices registered in the Developer Portal. Register an iOS device in the Developer Portal at https://developer.apple.com/account and then try again.
I have added my Mac as a device, so I'm not sure why the warning message tells me "no iOS devices registered in the Developer Portal."
What am I missing here?
