We should provide all credible and widespread views on his origins (WP:DUE) even if you think they are "wrong", and not say they are wrong in Wikipedia's voice 2. One author's writing does not make obsolete those of all others, especially the sources of higher and equal credibility who have had different views 3. A source being from 1960 does not make it better in any way, and is likely worse or oudated - see WP:RAJ and WP:AGEMATTERS undo Tags: Twinkle Undo
  • curprev 04:3304:33, 25 June 2024Talhachaudhary1111 talk contribs 50,161 bytes −3,440 Sultan Alauddin Bahman Shah, also known as Hassan Gangu, was from the Arain caste. Some recent writers have incorrectly said he was of Turk or Afghan origin in their works from 2015, 2004, 2017, and 2020. However, S.A.Q. Hussaini, in his 1960 book Bahman Shāh, the Founder of the Bahmani, clearly states that Bahman Shah was an Arain, and that Gangu is a subcaste of the Arains. This 1960 reference is much older and more reliable than the recent claims. I corrected it with citations and references. undo Tags: Reverted Visual edit
