Criticisms

[edit]

I just added a new section that begins to address criticisms of the Chinese educational system in TAR. It is just a start, and some of the early sections could use some revision as well. It needs to be presented well, as it is a nuanced issue, so I just wanted to get the ball rolling. Other sections that I think could be added include:

  • Rural education (very important for Tibet)
  • Religious education (monasteries are still major centers for learning)
  • International efforts (a number of NGOs are actively involved in education programmes in Tibet)

Please weigh in with any thoughts on this approach. —Zujine|talk 17:18, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of sourced content

Hey @HorseEyeJack:

As amusing as I'm finding your obsession with my edits and the constant WP:HOUNDING, its getting comical now. Going around to almost every page I edit and reverting my edits for no reason whatsoever.

Chinese government statistics are used throughout Wikipedia. You can yourself do an insource search and see.

What Wikipedia policy forbids the use of Chinese government statistics? Send me the link. Not your imagination, I want an actual policy where that is stated. Honoredebalzac345 (talk) 16:12, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have the same question: what Wikipedia policy forbids the use of Chinese government statistics? --Elnon (talk) 10:41, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
