Polish 2019 Election

On the Polish 2019 Election page, all of the seat changes need to be consistent throughout the page and using the same methodology for each party. The methodology you're using to say no loss of seats for Law and Justice is not used elsewhere on the page or in the same part of the page for any other party (i.e. Civic Platform or Polish Coalition).

Trouvailles

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Citizen Canine. I noticed that you recently removed content from Yulia Tymoshenko without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello. There was no removed content, just relocation of references from the introductory summary to the body of the article (the introductory summary is supposed to summarize the sourced elements of the article). Cheep (talk) 12:52, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You link to a claim of Valls covered in media as such: a claim of Valls. That's not a secondary source/statement. In addition, you don't need to be a Spanish citizen to run in municipal elections in Spain. Citizens of the European Union can run with no trouble, as well as citizens of other selected countries with reciprocity deals.--Asqueladd (talk) 08:11, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Could you take the time to format the reference you added here correctly, please? I suppose we should add Asselineau & Lasalle ^^ (but I doubt any of the others need re-bluelinking)... SashiRolls t · c 20:27, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hello Cheep, My name is Congressional Man, as I can see you agree with with me about the colors by thanking me for the edit, for Poroshenko, Zelensky, Tymoshenko, and Boyko. Blind revert

[edit]

In your most recent edit to the 2019 Ukrainian presidential election article, you reinserted incorrect figures for invalid votes, total votes and voter turnout as you undid the entire edit rather than the part you disagreed with. Please be more careful when reverting – if you hit undo, make sure what you are undoing is actually completely wrong.

Separately, in standard psephology, only valid votes are used to calculate percentages and Wikipedia needs to be consistent in using this approach. Note the figures in the 1991, 1994 and 1999 articles, which use a secondary academic source rather than the CVK (I notice the other articles deviate from this as they use the CVK as the source). Thanks, Number 57 14:34, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Number 57: see discussion here. Thank you. Cheep (talk) 17:48, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Volodymyr Zelensky infobox photograph

[edit]

Hello. I would appreciate an explanation for this edit – summarized as "copyvio" – wherein you replaced a file (which I prepared and uploaded earlier today) with another (of significantly lower resolution/quality) derived from the same CC BY 3.0-licensed video. Thank you. —David Levy 10:15, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I await your response. If a copyright problem exists, it's important that it be addressed promptly. —David Levy 10:48, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pope Francis infobox image

[edit]

Hello, you seem intent on changing the infobox image for Pope Francis across various language Wikipedias (de, ru, fr, etc.) May I ask why? The new photo is not an improvement (for one, many microphones obstruct the front side, also lighting and expression, etc.) So we would humbly request that you discuss infobox image changes before unilaterally updating them. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 23:40, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Macron statement on Maurice Audin

[edit]

Hello, I'm Oxysh. You removed one sentence relating to statements around the Maurice Audin affair, as well as a sentence relating to the opening of a commission into any French role in the Rwandan genocide on the Emmanuel Macron page, citing Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. The justification for removal is not transparent to me. It would be helpful if you could provide an explanation for how the sentence violated the guidelines. As far as I can see for now, the sentences adhere to the policy and report factually on what is contained in the primary and secondary material cited and should be restored. Svoboda

[edit]

Bonjour,

[edit]

Hello, Why do you keep undoing my edits on Dalida's article? You can't just delete facts about a celebrity and remove reliable sources just because you may not like such facts. --KawatharUAE (talk) 20:32, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

About why you reverted my edit

[edit]

Dalida nationality

[edit]

Hello, I would like to ask you about your revision on Dalida's nationality. As you can read on the Wikipedia page of Dalida in French and Italian, Dalida is described as Italian, naturalised French. Dalida's first nationality was Italian. She was born in Egypt by Italian parents and she had Italian nationality at birth (jus sanguinis citizenship). Her mother tongue was Italian, she attended Italian school in Egypt and grew up in an Italian environment. She moved To France and acquired her French citizenship in 1961 after marrying Lucien Morisse, at age 28. Her first nationality was Italian and she became French citizen later. Deleting the fact she was first an Italian citizen, it is a disrespect to facts. They weren't just her parents Italian, but she was Italian too. Please let me know, if we need to ask for admins involvement.--Cutio.mer (talk) 08:22, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
