Draft:Doppelganger Releasing

[edit]

Hi @Johannes Maximilian, I'm hoping you can help advise on the draft I've begun about Doppelganger Releasing, a company whose credits I have listed and cited from secondary sources. Can you please assist with creating a page for our company that will be approved? Doppelgangerreleasing (talk) 18:26, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft: Village Enterprise revision

[edit]

Hi @Johannes Maximilian,

Thank you for your review of Draft: Village Enterprise. I've added timestamps to the BBC radio program as you've suggested. I've also re-attributed footnote 1 to the BBC program (note that previously it was attributed to Marketplace, a program that runs on NPR). I've removed the sentence that required footnote two about Village Enterprise's mission. That seemed to be causing problems as a primary source.

Apologies for these sourcing errors, I had looked at some other pages and saw it was common for companies and nonprofits to often have a primary source as one of their first ones to include the mission statement, including Apple Inc., Facebook, Amazon (company) — as well as other nonprofits similar to Village Enterprise such as One Acre Fund, The BOMA Project, Charity: Water.

Would you be able to review the page again now that these edits have been made? I really appreciate you reviewing the page and providing feedback. BrettSlezak (talk) 18:37, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The page was approved by another editor over the weekend, so please ignore my comments above. Thanks again for your reiview! BrettSlezak (talk) 14:48, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Submission Declined

[edit]

hi Johannes Maximilian,

I 've noticed that you've declined a draft under this name "Pierre Timaitre". I understand that wikipedia must have his own way of verifying online sources, however all the informations given had been verified by the french wikipedia team.

I've given all the sources and the online links for them to be verified and knowing the fact all these informations are about me, i can guarantee you that they're legit.

Let me know if there is something else that need to be done.

Btw, i've been contacted via IG to help me "fix" this issue in exchange for some money..

Best Regards. Phantomlord66 (talk) 06:44, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Ramallah Friends Meeting (Quakers)

[edit]

I have added a book citation to the introduction of Draft:Ramallah Friends Meeting (Quakers). Other sources and citations are from primary and secondary sources, including books, University papers, and associated organizations. I hope this satisfies the issue. If not, please let me know what manner of verifiable sourcing is lacking. Thank you. InquisitiveALot (talk) 17:26, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It is my third page I made. You reviewed it. I removed the source you mentioned. Can you please verify it? I checked the tone and sources there are reliable secondary sources. Producers and talent bookers are not those making appearance on the TV. They work on making those projects happen. It is a page about the significant producer of a big show in the US.

He was awarded an Emmy for his work on that show, which is the main award for the television. He is not an actor, but also joined a big film project Superman for a main role there. I do not even know what category it fall in. J2009j (talk) 21:21, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Anurradha Prasad review

[edit]

I've seen that you've rejected my draft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Anurradha_Prasad with the reason "Please improve your external links section.", can you please suggest some some specific improvements can that can be done to this section? i'm really not sure what improvements can be done, should i add more links or is it about the layout? Ashish.gtr (talk) 07:48, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers, your recent edit is good, and I reckon that the issue with the external links section has been fixed. Best, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 15:16, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Johannes Maximilian, I hope this message finds you well.

Per these commments on my talk page, I believe that notability is clearly met. Would you be willing to take a look and confirm? HelixUnwinding (talk) 14:13, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I know it was a while back but I was hoping if you had a second I could ask you a few questions about this page I've been working on. You declined and mentioned refbombing and overlinking. I agree it makes sense to remove some but was wondering if you could advise on which in particular are the most egregious before I change and then resubmit. Thank you! Updated draft for BETTER FINANCE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Better_Finance

[edit]

Hi Johannes, the article for BETTER FINANCE was rejected due to insufficient sources. However, I update it and now it has 21 sources, most of them independent sources. Can you please check the article and see if it is correct? Thanks in advance! Rinazh (talk) 12:07, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Alejandro Laguna. Submission declined

[edit]

Hello @Johannes Maximilian,

I am the author of this page (but I am not the subject). You rejected it with the justification that "This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources." I understand the importance of citing reliable sources (I'm a university professor). I read the guidance on reliable sources and believe the article meets this standard. I dedicated a lot of time to adding extensive and appropriate references. I used media stories, academic publications, academic websites. Many of the sources are in Portuguese and Spanish. Is this the problem? Please give me some specific guidance on which sources are problematic.

Thank you. Tangaroo11 (talk) 12:09, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thermal reactor

[edit]

This was a precursor to the catalytic converter, but is there an entry? Articles here and maybe here. Does Thermal oxidizer have anything to do with it? de:Regenerative Nachverbrennung links to Regenerative thermal oxidizer, is that the same thing? I don't want to post Wikilinks to the wrong concept. Best,  Mr.choppers | ✎  02:53, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Hakan, in principle, these things are all the same. The difference is that industrial regenrative thermal oxidisers are nowadays used in industrial-grade facilities (e.g., waste processing facilities). In motor vehicles, thermal reactors are significantly smaller in size and much more primitive in their operation. NSU fitted the Ro80 with such a device because of the Wankel engine's poor combustion behaviour (the combustion chamber has such a bad shape that the flame cannot reach the mixture in the "corners", i.e., the mixture doesn't combust and leaves the combustion chamber through the exhaust). Since fuel contains hydrocarbons (HC), it must be oxidised, i.e., converted into CO2 and H2O) if it isn't meant to produce a smelly exhaust – and this is why that device was installed in the first place. Otherwise, the smell would have been unbearable. Best, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 20:05, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
