Abstract
The process reduces the emotional influence when making diagnostic measurements by instrument. By training in the biological feedback method the patient tends to assume the rest position, and detects the result of his activity in this direction with the aid of apparatus provided. The diagnostic measurement is only made when the detected instrument reading lies within a predetermined range characteristic of the rest position. During the biological feedback electro-encelographic investigations can be carried out, the feedback characteristic value being formed by the alpha waves. The start of the rest period is detected by the relative amplitude of the alpha waves above the predetermined wave level.
