The integration of large datasets and multiomics in drug discovery is not just an advancement; it's a paradigm shift. Historically, medicines were designed with a "one-size-fits-all" approach. However, with the advancements in genomics and the reduced cost of DNA sequencing (from $3 billion in 2003 to less than $600 now), it's now feasible to customize medicines based on an individual's DNA.
